Our spiritual center wants to hire a Spiritual Leader who graduated from a different school than our denomination.
What can we do?
It is actually up to your local board. Possible solutions include...
Your center has found the perfect soul to lead you but your denomination has rules that say you can't be led by who you choose.
You can either follow the rules or go independent.

Follow the rules?
Yes. That means you need to do what your told. If you are a member of a greater organization and they have rules, follow the rules or get out.
Get out ? It is simple to understand. Any church can simply vote to be independent. Of course your denomination might have clauses and means to try to attack you if you do go independent but you can simply let it leak what they are doing and they will be worse off for their hypocrisy.
What does independent mean ? It means you are not longer in a denomination, thus you can tithe or donate to what you want. You are also not going to get their help anymore.
No help ? No help. So you have to ask yourself, how much do they help you right now? Are they just providing you with some class credits while charging you for everything? Are they giving you a few paper certificates? Are they provding you with rules but no support? What help are they giving you? |
