The Institute of Truth, was founded in 1992 and designed to be not only a New Thought Metaphysical University, but a place where students can study, contemplate and rest in spiritual truth. It is registered with the State of Oregon as a non-profit, religious educational institute.

This " four-level" program at the Center For Inner Awareness is designed to be a gentle unfolding of the divine magnificence within each student. Awareness of the truth becomes clearer by studying spiritual principles and applying them in one's daily life. The Center's classes are kept small to encourage discussion and ensure full understanding of all teachings.

The academic program at the Center For Inner Awareness is organized into four progressive levels, each building upon the previous one.

This program is self-paced, each level typically takes one year to complete at which time examinations are held. Students advance according to examination results, their level of understanding, whether they are practicing the spiritual principles or not and at the discretion of the teacher.
